The great thing about them is they are plug compatible the IBM Thinkpad series and other laptops. These adapters are 16V and 1.56A which means if your notebook has a requirement of a higher amperage the battery will charge slower than normal. We have tested these with a IBM Thinkpad 380ED & 380XD with no apparent ill effects to the battery.
